An innovative digital content agency is looking for a Senior Product Manager. They’ve been recently acquired by a media industry heavyweight, and building exceptional content products that delight audiences and deliver serious ROI to advertisers. To be the right Hired Gun for this gig, you’ll need a history of building products that push boundaries in the content and/or social media space.
Storytelling is this company’s business. They’ve already redefined the concept of newsrooms (seriously), and now they need your product leadership to bring their content to a broader audience.
As Senior Product Manager, you’ll lead an amazing team to build products that solve real-world problems for brands, technology companies, and media organizations. You’re going to be doing nothing short of revolutionizing how storytellers work with social content.
You’ll own the product roadmap here. You’ll lead a cross-functional Agile dev process that deliver quality products that address the needs of both users and advertisers. You’ll also work closely with biz dev, marketing, and sales to define product and go-to-market strategies.
You’re the quintessential product pro. You’ve spent several years in product development, working your way up to a leadership role with high visibility and accountability. There are more project release cycles in your career than there are socks in your sock drawer, and you’ve managed logistics and delivery on most of them.
You’ve spent plenty of time in content, social, or technology companies, and you have a deep understanding of what drives successful products for that vertical.
You’ve got a proven track record of building killer products that make users and advertisers alike step back and say, “wow.” You have a firm understanding of how users interact with digital content, and you know the KPIs that brands, media companies, and tech companies value. You inspire your team with big ideas, and you challenge them to reach for the next level.
You’re a skilled collaborator who is both strategic and detail-oriented. You’re at home in Agile/Scrum environments, and have a bias for rapid delivery and collaborative execution, and you know how to get both technical and business people to support a transparent product roadmap. You’re also skilled translator, a gift emerges when you’re working closely with technical leads to deliver the desired business needs.
An exceptional product portfolio is a must here. If you can show us exceptional builds for news or social (or both!), you’ll move to the front of the line.
